I haven't done a journal for ages now, mainly because I continue to put it off as the list of things I have to talk about keeps growing. Atm, it's fairly large. Don't fret though, because I'm going to try and aim to get things done soon. And hopefully have a 3k page view kiriban blowout, displaying a large amount of unseen on dA works of mine.

:bulletblue:So...Summer was here! For like a week, though to be honest that's more than I could ever have hoped for in British Summer Time. It's still warm-ish but it looks like it's going to start raining soon which means I won't get a chance to burn myself in the scorching sun, which is for the best.
Still, this weather is bringing in the insects which is the worst part of Summer really, annoying little things they are.
:bulletgreen:Most exam results are back now, and despite their pointlessness they've been relatively successful. I almost feel like my work for the year is done and don't feel motivated to do much more work at all xD

Good News Everyone!
The last two days have been very good for me as far as my life on dA is concerned. Firstly, after just a few attempts, I won a creation inspiration giveaway! Giving me a 4 week premium membership, this should be enough to give me some good experience and also still have it by the time I get my graphics tablet and start using it to good effect as my birthday is a mere 13 days away (probably 12 by the time you read this).
I've spent some time learning some of the cool things I can do with this but still haven't quite got my head around everything. But I still have 26 days to do that, and who knows, I may extend it after this experience.

:bulletblue: I recently acquired my 1000th page view! It's been a steady rise since I properly joined, so here's to the next thousand! Expect some kind of art to commemorate this.
:bulletblue: I also finished a pixel art scene for a contest being held by !ClearFog (https://www.deviantart.com/clearfog)
it turned out quite well but it is slightly hard to make out due to the forced size and colour restrictions, it was an interesting work around though. I think a proper coloured version will be posted later.
